Geraldine A. "Gerry" Reiter

Homes in Elk River, Minnesota. Born August 20, 1930, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, she was the

daughter of George and Oral (Sylte) Kramer. She graduated from Eau Claire High School and

received a teaching degree in 1952 from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome (Jerry) Reiter and her sister Yvonne

Jeanne (Vonnie) Johnson. She is survived by her children, Jane (Marv) Knoeck of Rochester,

NY; Amy (John) Taylor of Anoka, MN; Peter (Marcy) Reiter of St. Louis Park, MN; and Sarah

(Chris) Pickhardt of Ramsey, MN; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also

survived by her brother in law, Keith Reiter of La Habra, CA, sister in law, Judy (Daryl) Wold of

Eau Claire, WI and many nieces and nephews. An active member of Eau Claire Womens’ Club,

she served as president and was a member of the Womens’ Club chorus. Genealogy and

reading were some of her many other interests.

The family would like to extend its gratitude to the staff at BeeHive Homes of Elk River for their

outstanding care and compassion.

A memorial service commemorating Gerry’s life will be held in Eau Claire in spring.
