Preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon; sister, Susan Geye; grandchildren, Anna, Nicole and Michael. James will be deeply missed by his children, Susan (Chris), Stephen (Rita), Stacey (Rick) and Sara; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
