Jean was my sister-in-law and I saw her as the heart and soul of the family. She always kept in touch with news of the family and interest in our lives. A lady who loved to organize a get-together (much to my relief) and filled the space with not only family, but neighbors and old friends included. She made everyone feel important and part of her group of friends. I will miss her phone calls and funny reminisces about old things that happened in the past.  She was like her dad, Gordon, in that way. When they got together, you were really in for an entertaining evening! Good Bless You, Jean. Heaven truly gained an angel! And also bless your loving family missing you here on earth.

I was so sad to hear about my Aunt Jean's difficult battle with ALS and her recent passing. She was a person full of love and kindness. Quick to suggest gatherings, Aunt Jean was a true believer in community and togetherness. She never hesitated to show compassion and care for others in need. I always admired her honesty, storytelling, good sense of humor, humility, and genuinely welcoming spirit. If I become more like her by the time I go, that would be for the best. Shouldn't we all be more like my Aunt Jean? Probably, yes. She will be sorely missed for a long time, I'm sure. What a lovely human and blessing to all those who knew her. 
Sincere sadness I can't make it back to be with the Din family at this time. As she herself would say, it's a shame we don't get together more often.

Jeanie  was a beautiful, happy, positive person,and we were so blessed to have had her in our lives for over last 30 years.Jeanie was.more than a friend .She was like family. We  have so many happy memories  over the years,and she will be missed until we see her in heaven.

We are saddened by the news of Jeanie's passing. We were so blessed to have had her in our lives. Such a kind, caring, passionate and thoughtful person ❣️. Our prayers go out to the family. May she rest in peace. God Bless!

Jeanie was the BEST...
 A most loving & thoughtful person. She was a terrific caregiver to my brother! She made a special effort to brighten his day, laughing  & smiling as she went about her daily caregiver tasks. Chatting with him as he watched her playful antics to make each day special for him.  I will miss her dearly and I am comforted by her desire to return "home" with her lord Jesus....I'm sure she will be busy preparing our place in Heaven when we all rejoin her. May God Bless her entire family as Jesus has called her home. We will miss her physical presence but will always feel her spirit in our heart.

Jeanie is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Shams Din; children, Shahid (Sherdean) Din, Sahira (Eric) Hughes, Shahrukh (Barbara) Din, and Shawn (Maikou) Din; grandchildren, Morgan, Bailey, Elijah, Bryce, Desi, Malik, Ayannah, Kaiden, Zoey, Alex, Jasmine, Amani, Rayna, great-grandchild, Averie; siblings, Judy McCallson, Jerry (Sherri) McCallson, and John (Bea) McCallson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
