She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and JoAnn Brown; and step-grandson, Andy Steadman.
Pam is survived by her sister, Cynthia Brown; brothers, Marty Brown, Gregory (Stacey) Brown; her daughters, Jaimie (Mike Binning) Bahl, Jessica (Steve Wiltsey) Schmeda, and Jacki (Mark Steadman) Bahl; as well as her beloved grandchildren, Daniel Schmeda, Jacob, Jaxon, Jayden, Jordyn, and Jason Steadman. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren, Samantha and Nicole Steadman; fur grand pups, Walter and Cooper; and her special friend, Ray. She was lovingly known as “Mommom.”
Pam grew up in New Brighton, Minnesota, and often shared stories of childhood adventures, camping trips, and a little bit of mischief along the way. She was known as the life of the party; quick with a laugh, full of stories, and always bringing her presence into every room she entered. She loved country music, margaritas, Pepsi, chocolate, Bingo, playing cards with her grandkids, and especially baking Christmas cookies- a tradition she cherished with everyone.
Pam dedicated many years of service through the VFW Auxiliary, where she volunteered for over 20 years supporting veterans and their families. She also worked for the Salvation Army in Blaine, Minnesota, where she eventually retired. Those who knew Pam will remember her humor, her vibrant spirit, and the deep love she had for her family.
A memorial service celebrating Pam’s life will be held on Friday, April 24th, 2026, between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm, at the Coon Rapids VFW, with VFW auxiliary ritual at 6:00 pm. Cremation has taken place, and the family invites all who knew and loved her to gather in remembrance.
In lieu of flowers, donations towards the family are preferred to support them during this time.
