James J. “Jimmy” Hart 88 of Apopka, Florida passed away on October 16, 2015. He was born on June 27, 1927 and he was Catholic by his faith. He served proudly for 7 years in the US Army and was awarded the Bronze Star. Jimmy was preceded in death by his two sons, Michael Hart and James Hart. Jimmy is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years Gilda; his daughter, Denise (John) Palmerini; his sisters, Rosemary Dougherty and Peggy Hudock; his grandchildren: John Palmerini, James Palmerini, Marc Hart, Sean Hart and Michael Malkosian and by his great grandchildren: Peyton and Justin Palmerini and Robert and Juliana Palmerini. Jimmy was also a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 2 – 4 PM and from 6 – 8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Apopka Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka, FL.
