Regina Michelle Monogan, age 65, peacefully passed into eternal life the morning of February 6th, 2021. She was born July 25th, 1955 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hoboken, New Jersey to Emily DeLellis and Eugene Monogan.
Regina is the loving and devoted mother of Melissa Eugina, Aislinn Marie, Michelle Isabel and Lindsey Anne. The adoring nannie of Kayla Marie, Alexzandra Michelle, Michael Jason, Madison Mae, Jean Carlos, Nicolas Donato, Natalie Rosa and Anthony Christopher. The great nannie of Alaynah Nicole, Nyara Marie, Sebastian Lorenzo and Azlynn Eileen. Regina is survived by her loving siblings Bobby, Theresa, Michelle and Jimmy, her sister-in-law Mary Jane and the love of her life, Jim, and his son Chris. Countless cousins, nieces, and nephews. All of whom she loved dearly.
Regina was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and worked relentlessly to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. She especially cherished her role as Nannie and embraced her time with her grandchildren. She had a vivacious personality that was unmatched. She made friends everywhere she went. Regina was creative, crafty, and loved to cook - she was a phenomenal chef. She loved sunsets, butterflies, birds, flowers, gardening, travel, and Judge Judy. She enjoyed music and dancing with her friends and family. She bestowed upon her children and grandchildren independence, integrity, perseverance, and invaluable skills that will be honored for decades to come.
In loving memory of Regina, we will celebrate her life on July 25th, 2021, in true Jeanie style. We love her endlessly and are forever grateful for her sacrifice.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to your local Shelter for Women and Children.
