Thomas Edward Apgar

Thomas E. Apgar, Age 57, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in Orlando, Florida. Tom was born on August 17, 1957 in Amityville, N.Y.. to Dorothy O. Apgar and Francis Apgar He grew up in the town of West Babylon and attended the West Babylon schools. He continued to live there until 2006 when he moved to Apopka , Fl. He has worked for Home depot in both N.Y. and Florida for 20 years. Tom liked to do wood working and made beautiful cabinets and pool tables. He also liked to cook and make family holiday meals. He met his wife Elvera in the Philippines, 2011 and was married in September 24, 2012. Tom is survived by his loving wife Vera, daughter Erica, her husband Peter and grandson Liam,Mt. Dora , Fl., brother Robert, Patchogue, N.Y.., sister, Maryann and her husband Bob, Mt Dora, Fl. Preceded in death by father, Francis Apgar and mother, Dorothy Apgar. Funeral services for Thomas will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.. at Baldwin-Fairchild 601 N. Park Ave, Apopka, Florida, 32712. Visitation for Thomas will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6- 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Committal Services will be held at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 East Semoran Blvd, Apopka, Florida, 32703 at 12:45pm following the funeral service
