Virginia Louise Godwin, 89 passed away on July 3, 2015 at Emerald Health Care in Port St. Lucie, FL. She was born in Cortland, NY and had been a longtime resident of Apopka, FL. Virginia was a very loving, caring and fun person. She loved laughing and being silly with her family and friends. She had a passion for poetry and loved butterflies. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband William H. Godwin, two brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter. She is survived by her daughter Sherry Cart and husband Johnie of Ft. Pierce, FL, granddaughter Cheryl Kampe and husband Bryan of Apopka, FL, grandson Bradley Cart and wife Sonja of Jensen Beach, FL. 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. A visitation will take place on Tuesday July 7th at Baldwin-Fairchild Apopka; 601 North Park Ave Apopka from 10-11am. A service will take place at 11am with a Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
