Kathi was very diligent and made well known to her sibling’s that she was “The Big Sister.” Kathi was a proud member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. She was a very proud grandmother. She got to see her grandson, Dellavin McCovey score his first touchdown for the Hoopa Valley Warriors; she was also proud to see her her granddaughter Leila dance in the Brushdance for the first time. She was so proud of Corbin and Tashee starting school, and Queen was always the brat. Anything they did made her proud, she loved to spend time with her grandbabies, friends and family. She loved to go fishin and set the net with her cousin Custer and her sister ShellBell. She loved to go camping up Box Camp. Kathi was very loyal to her Brush Dances, she couldn’t wait for the first one to start, then she was on the Brush Dance Trail for the summer. Kathy will be missed more than words can express.
