Melody Carol Moon

Mel loved everyone and everyone loved Mel. She would give anyone her last dollar, whether food or drink. She lived 51 years and lived every day. Mel died suddenly on Father's Day. She loved her dad and talked about him often. She loved the mountains, fish, her plants, music and taking pictures.

She loved her family the most.

Her sister Robin, her brothers Mike Kelsey and Alfred Moon, Jr.

Her sons William Moon, Shawn Moon, and her only daughter Sierra Moon.

Grandchildren Eugene and Regena Lowden, Anne Marie and Adam Anderson, Mer Rey Mitchell, and Shawn Moon, Jr, Sierra T. Moon.

Her nieces Katheryn Moon, Madelyn McCovey, Michael Kelsey, Jr, Catissa, Cassandra, Alfred, Me Chelle, Micole, and Ernie Kelsey. Her numerous great nieces and nephews.

She had a very large family and unfortunately we cannot list you all. Just know that she loved her family and friends very much as well as her children's significant others. Mel is finally home with her father and knowing that makes our hearts lighter.

A visitation will be held at Church of the Mountains in Hoopa, California on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Time information is pending.
