Reggie Franklin Tice, 67 of Jamestown. Born in Albemarle, NC on April 1, 1958 to William Wilson (Bill) Tice and Jean Bailey Tice he was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished friend and beloved brother. A gifted athlete, Reggie was not only MVP at Ragsdale High School but also was chosen to play in the 39th Annual Shrine Bowl Game, which led him to earn his college career as an All-Star player at Wake Forest and on to Elon College where he helped lead them to a National Championship. Reggie was very competitive and excelled in everything he pursued whether on the football field, fishing, or in his hardware sales career. Above all, he was the best husband and father anyone could ask for.
Known for his adventurous spirit, Reggie was equally admired for his strong work ethic and kind heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and cared deeply for his friends and family. Like his mother, he possessed a compassionate heart and a genuine desire to help others. Reggie loved people and lived his life with the purpose of bringing joy, laughter and happiness to those around him.
Reggie found his greatest peace at his parents’ beach house in Holden Beach, where he cherished time with family, watching sunsets and spending time on the water. He had a deep love for wildlife and the outdoors, he found comfort and fulfillment in fishing and hunting. He adored his dogs, Lance, Joe and Drake, loved music and embraced life to the fullest.
