Adelaida Rodriguez

Adelaida Rodriguez, 91, born August 22, 1931, in Puerto Rico, to Telesforo and Petrona (nee Rodriguez-Flores) Galarza. She died Sunday, August 13, 2023, at her home.

A 46-year associate with Associated Transformer, Inc. Elmwood Park, Illinois. Mrs. Rodgriguez produced protype components for testing in multiple electrical applications. A devoted Catholic, Adelaida was an active member of several Chicago area parishes which have since been combined or closed.

Adelaida is survived by children, Genaro (Catherine) Rodriguez, Lourdes Alicia Rodriguez, and Ana Vilma Rodriguez; her grandson, David (Charity) Rodriguez; and her great grandchildren, Alleyah Nikki and Brayden Jarvis.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Genaro Rodriguez, Sr.; her parents; her brothers, Francisco and German and sister, Alejandrina (Juan) Rodriguez; and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Ann Rodriguez..

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am at St. James Catholic Church, 831 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004. Interment following at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association at alz.org/research.
