He died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Skokie Hospital, in Skokie, Illinois.Mr. Stefani was a salesman for a men"s clothing store and later was a deliveryman for Bornhoff Dairy for many years. He was a radio operator in the Coast Guard during WW II." Albert enjoyed wintering in Marco Island, Florida." He was an avid golfer, Cub fan, and story teller who liked watching sports, especially his grandchildren.Albert is survived by his son, Robert J. (Jane) Stefani; his grandchildren, Daniel Robert (Linda) Stefani, David James (Diane) Stefani and Mark Allen (Cindy) Stefani; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Sam, Chris, Kyle, Ryan, Kate and Jack Stefani; his beloved companion, Florence Strozewski; and his devoted friends, Eleanor Rogers and Betty Holzkamp.He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret E. (nee Benton); his parents and his brothers Chris, Dante, and Frank.Visitation" from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N.
