

Aldo P. D'Andrea passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026 at his home in Arlington Heights, Illinois at the age of 89. Born in a small town in Italy, Aldo met his late wife Anna DiCristfano, where they got married and he followed her to America after he received his papers, where they built a beautiful home and went on to have 60 years of a loving marriage.
Aldo worked as a dedicated welder mechanic for over 30 years, and he took great pride in his work. He approached his profession with the same reliability and determination that defined his everyday life, where he was known to always be fixing things around the house, and working on projects for others. He will be remembered for his love of life, laughter and adventure. He found peace outside where he loved to garden and watch things grow by his hands. His love to travel carried him across the world, creating cherished memories with trips to places like Scotland, London, Italy and Hawaii to name a few.
Known for his quick humor and playful spirit, Aldo was a natural jokester who constantly brought laughter to any room . Above all, he was someone people could count on. No matter the time or circumstance, Aldo never hesitated to drop everything to help others when they called. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Aldo was predeceased by his father Nicola D'Andrea, his mother Domenica D'Andrea(Divito), his wife Anna D'Andrea. Brother's Dominick (Emilia) and Pasquale ( Angela), and his sister Giovanna (Nicola). He is survived by his brother Vince D'Andrea (Paolina), his loving daughter Domenica and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 4pm-8pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004. There will also be a visitation on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 9am-10am at St. Edna Catholic, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004, followed by a Funeral Mass from 10am-11am. Entombment will follow on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 12:30pm at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1400 S Wolf Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162.
