

Ana Maria Carrasco was born on July 27, 1945, in El Bonete, Michoacan, Mexico to Felix and Rogelia (nee Corona) Saucedo. She died on January 25, 2024, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
She attended vocational school in Mexico City and became a seamstress. After getting married, she became a homemaker and raised her six children. She later worked at Bake Line Cookie Factory in Des Plaines for 15 years. Ana was a woman of strong faith and was a very active parishioner at St. Stanislaus Kostka, where her children attended school. In 1986, they moved their family to Des Plaines and joined St. Stephen Church. There she became a Eucharistic Minister, led prayer groups, and helped with bible studies. Her favorite times were always spent with her loved ones. She had a very generous heart and enjoyed gift giving. She had the best sense of humor and loved making others laugh. She adored all her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.
Ana is survived by her husband Brigido Carrasco; her children Rosy (Art) Chavez, Fermin (Angelica) Carrasco, Lily (Jim) Meyers, Lucy (Jen) Carrasco-Abarca, Brigido Jr. (Lisa) Carrasco, and Lizbeth (Jesus) Garcia; her grandchildren Robert Ochoa, Adrian Carrasco, Taylor Carrasco, Adam Carrasco, Matthew Carrasco, Sebastian Garcia, Maddox Carrasco, Olive Meyers, Otis Meyers, and Santiago Garcia; her great-granddaughters Alexa and Julieta Carrasco; her siblings Evangelina Ayala, Beto (Gude) Saucedo, Fermin (Anita)Saucedo, Griselda(Elias) Saucedo, Estela Saucedo, and Jaime (Rosalia) Saucedo.She is preceded in death by her parents Felix and Rogelia Saucedo.
Visitation Friday, February 2, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Funeral Mass, Saturday, February 3, at 10:00 am at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, 1351 W. Evergreen Ave, Chicago, IL. Interment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
