Angus was the husband of 36 years to So Ha Gray. He was the stepfather of Yei (Connie) Moy, Lai (Cherry) Moy, and father to Angus D. (Anahi) Gray. He was grandfather to Cynthia, Stephen, Michael, Katie, Matthew, Rebecca, Camilla, Makayla, Angus III, and Jenessa and great-grandfather to Kairo.
Early in Angus’s life, he served in the armed forces in Gibraltar, a British overseas territory. In 1966, Angus began his career at Affy Tapple, a Chicagoland maker of caramel apples and other confections. He helped develop, implement and service the equipment that produced the caramel apples.
Angus was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with family and friends in Canada, Florida and Lake Michigan. He was a great handyman and was always eager to help others with home repairs, home remodeling and auto repairs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association Illinois Chapter in Angus’s name.
