Barbara Harrington

Barbara Harrington (nee Petrusonis) was born on January 22, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to Anthony and Angelina (nee DeBellis) Petrusonis. She died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at JourneyCare in Glenview, Illinois.

Mrs. Harrington was a teacher with the Chicago Board of Education from September 1970 thru June 1985, was a secretary with the Girl Scouts of America from August 1985 thru May 1990 and worked as an Administrative Assistant for Veach, Rich & Nadler Accountants from November 1991 thru September 2010.

She loved traveling to Marco Island, Florida, reading mystery novels and dining out at various restaurants.

Barbara is survived by her husband John Harrington whom she married on December 24, 1984; her sister Carol (Robert) Servi as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother Anthony (late Margaret) Petrusonis, Ret. CPD.

Visitation Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be private.
