Barbara Ann Johnson was born September 28, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN to Henry and Stella Smith. She died July 4, 2017 at Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville.

Barb was a longtime Eucharistic Minister at St. Alphonsus.

Barbara is survived by her husband Bruce Johnson; her children Debby (Mark) Pfau, Sandy (Clint) Jones; Dan Johnson and Stacy (Josh) Weiss; her grandchildren Bruce (Heather), Rachel (Will), Chris, Chad, Nick, Kristin, Alex and Norah; her great grandchildren David, Nayeli, Natalie and Dylan; her sister Kathy (late Eldon) Humphrey and Sharon (late Rick) Butler.

Barbara is preceded in death by her son Robert Johnson; her brothers Richard, Kenneth and Henry Smith and by her parents.

Visitation Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Prayers Monday, July 10, 2017 at 8:45 AM at Glueckert Funeral Home to St. Alphonsus, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070 for Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
