Catherine W. Wit, 105, of Arlington Heights, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025. She was born February 2, 1920 the daughter of Homer and Grace Weaver.

Catherine is survived by her children, Stasia (Robert) Porter, Samuel (Jill) Wit, and Jonathan (Laurie) Wit; grandchildren, Robert (Eva) Porter, Jeffrey (Iris) Porter, Catherine Allen, Laura (Jeremy) Peltonen, Samuel (Sha) Wit, Emily (William) Bochenek, and Abigail (Erik) Hagglund; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Charles Allen.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Wit; daughter, Catherine Allen; parents; and her siblings, William (Almeda) Weaver and Donald (Lyn) Weaver.

All services will be private.
