Charles J. Dvorak

Chuck was born on September 21, 1938 in Cicero, IL to Charles and Mary Dvorak and he was a graduate of Morton High School in 1955. He also received his MBA from Loyola University. Chuck joined the U.S. Navy in 1961 and served as a Lieutenant J.G. until his honorable discharge in 1965. He married Linda Yocum in DuPage County in 1985. Chuck worked for United Airlines for over 35 years until his retirement in 2000 as the finance director. He was a lifetime member of the Bohemian Youth Group, SOKOL. Chuck enjoyed racquetball, tennis, playing golf and traveling every chance he got.

He was preceded in death by, his parents and three children, Jeffery, Elizabeth and Douglas Dvorak.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda; his daughter, Maureen (Mike) Winkler as well as other family and friends.

A visitation for Chuck will be held on his birthday Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 10:30am until 12:00pm at Lauterburg-Oehler Funeral Home (2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL). A service will follow the visitation on Sunday at the funeral home at 12:00pm with entombment immediately following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chuck’s memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
