Charmaine Therese RenderOf Arlington HeightsCharmaine Therese Render was born on June 3, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Lucille (nee Clement) Hill. She died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights.Charmaine was a single mom who had a love of classic movies and who was an avid doll and angel collector. As a shopaholic and garage sale aficionado she appreciated a good bargain. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and at one time she instructed ceramics at the Leaning Tower YMCA in Nile. She loved swing music, jitterbugging, and gardening. She was a breast cancer survivor, and she took pride in becoming smoke-free. Her greatest joy, however, was interacting with her family, friends and loved ones.She is survived by her children, Dave (Joyce Reynolds) Render, Lisa (John) Helminski and Greg (Sue) Render; her grandchildren, Jeff (Laura) Render, Chris (Simona) Render, Ryan Render, Laura Render and Ashley Helminski and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Tyler and Olivia Render. She was a beloved Aunt who was very close with many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marjorie Albright.Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday, February 8, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., , Arlington Heights, Illinois. Prayers 9:15 AM, Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the funeral home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Illinois for Mass at 10:00 am.
