Christie Tansor, formerly of Arlington Hts., was born on July 1, 1996, in Chicago, Illinois to Robert and Alice (nee Shimoda) Tansor. She passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019.

She was a graduate student at Saint Louis University studying Occupational Therapy. She graduated from John Hersey High School in 2014 and received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science from Saint Louis University in 2018. At SLU, she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and was the vice president of the Student Occupational Therapy Association.

Christie’s smile and laughter were contagious, and she was the kindest, most loving person you could ever meet. She had so much love for her family and truly brightened up the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

Christie is survived by her loving parents Bob and Alice; her siblings Julia and Brian; her grandparents Calvin and Mary Tansor; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Allison Bayro, who was like a sister to her.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, January 11, 2019, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Hts., IL. Funeral Mass 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2019, at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Hts., IL. Burial following Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, Illinois.
