Christine Barbara Perri

Christine Barbara Perri was born on February 4, 1953, in Chicago to Joseph John and H. Louise (nee Peskor) Perri. She passed on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, in the comfort of her second home, Swedish Covenant Hospital.

This is where Christine was a nurse for 45 years.

Outside of nursing Christine was a very dedicated friend and generous donor of her time. Her interests included crocheting, photography, country music, travel and writing. She was also a fantastic dancer and enjoyed taking a gamble with lady luck. Most of all, she loved things that others deemed "ugly" and made it her mission to provide them love.

Christine is survived by her brothers Gregory and Jeffrey (Jeanne) Perri as well as her nieces and nephews Jessica (Nathan) Indra, Seneca (Scott) Liam, Elio, Amanda (Alex) Emiliana, Perri, Aurora, Valerie (Matt), William and Fr. Elijah Perri.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 9:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be given to either Misericordia or St. Jude's.
