Chris was my sweetest nephew. Whenever we had Vogt gatherings he always gave a hug when greeting us. He loved all his cousins and they all loved him. He will be missed greatly.

I got to know Chris from  when he was in Boy Scouts.  I was the Chapter Advisor for the Order of the Arrow and Chris was in High School.  I was brand new in my position and Chris was one of the first Scouts that stepped up to take on a leadership role in our Chapter..
He was very dedicated to the ideals of Scouting and became one of the "go to" leaders for the North Woods Chapter of the OA.  I am proud to have known him as a friend and a colleague.  May he rest in Peace.

An oldie, but a goodie. I hope you're able to finally catch up, laugh and have fun with Uncle Ron. Make sure to have enough for the rest of us up there in the meantime!

Chris was the best cousin someone could ask for. He was always kind, always caring, and made sure to give us a hard time juuuust enough to keep us in line. Chris introduced me to several life time hobbies, and will always be a main contributor to so many amazing memories of mine. He will be missed.

I want to express my deepest condolences and sympathy to Chris' friends and family.   Chris and I were in Boy Scout Troop 401 together.  We shared many years' worth of weekend campouts, volunteering events, and summer camp seasons.  Boy Scouts always talks about being a person of good character and Chris was a person of great character.  I will remember his sense of humor (goofy and slapstick) and his willingness to help his friends.  I hope our paths cross again down the trail.

Chris - I have literally typed this "memory" five times and I keep deleting it. I don't know what to say or how to say it. But I realize... I need to tell people a memory here so here it goes... this picture was taken the day we started calling kimmy "butch". For no reason. And bonus... this was her birthday party. We thought we were so funny. I vaguely remember my mom and dad getting so irritated with us but Kimmy would just sit there and laugh along bc she had no idea. This random story came up nearly every holiday or birthday party. And it was our little inside joke. I'm going to miss randomly laughing about this with you. I can't just look across the room or the table and shout "butch" anymore because no one will get it. I miss you. And I love you cuz. Watch  over us ok? Tell uncle Mike and my daddy we all say hi 💔xoxo

You were the best nephew and godson a person could ask for. You were always happy and fun to be around.  You were like a big brother to Carrie and Kim and you will be missed so much. Rest in peace Chris and know you are loved.

There are way too many memories....
When your friendship extends decades it's hard to pick just one. 
Chris would destroy a rack of ribs. Always played along with our debauchery in high school but always kept his hands clean lol.
There wasn't a social event or party he'd miss when we still lived in Illinois. Always the good one, gonna miss the 3 Stooges quotes and Mash trivia. 80's music will now have a different meaning in my heart. I'm glad I got to visit you back in January. You will forever be missed.

My condolences to his wife and family and friends. Chris was one of my really good friends. I might him in 2020 through our mutual friend and we all just got along so well. I will never forget our spa nights, new years eve going into 2024 and celebrating remission and a new year together and I will never forget going to the Disney Expo with you and Angel and Cat. This is not goodbye but see you in the next life. I pray you enter the Kingdom and aren't in pain anymore. I will be dedicating my first marathon this year to you my friend. We never got to run together like we planned but that doesn't mean you won't be with me. I'll miss you forever Chris and you will always be remembered. Fly high Stoog
