Claudette A. DaCosse, 87 of Arlington Heights, formerly of Chicago was born February 20, 1934 in Chicago and passed away July 13, 2021. Following a career at Argonne National Laboratory, she enjoyed her retirement in Arkansas. Claudette moved back to the Chicago area two years ago, which allowed her to reconnect with longtime family and friends. Claudette enjoyed music, movies, quilting and reading and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Claudette was the beloved wife of the late John Kolinski and the late Albert DaCosse; loving mother of Mary Ann (Bob) Schultz and Maureen LaMantia; cherished grandmother of Brian (Heather) Schultz, Kevin Schultz, Daniel Schultz, Michael Schultz, Anthony (Ashley) LaMantia, Matthew (Lauren) LaMantia and Lindsay (Jordan) Schuster; great-grandmother of Zac, Rosie and Callum. Claudette was preceded in death by her parents William and Jeanette (McKearnin) Clay and her brothers William Clay, Donald Clay, Richard Clay and Gerald Clay. Funeral service and interment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
