Cristina Chiovari was born July 6, 1938 in Alta Villa, Sicily, Italy to Rosario and Rosaria (nee Abbate) Pecoraro. She died March 27, 2021.

An amazing seamstress, loving to sew, crochet and needle point. An avid cook and baker. Always refined in appearance. She dedicated her life to her grandchildren.

Cristina is survived by her husband Loreto Chiovari; her children Sam (Rosemary), Maria (Vito) Bellantuono, Angelo (Mary Rose); her grandchildren Nicco, Johnloreto, Steven, Christian, Loreto, Cristina and Alexia; her siblings Salvatore (late Rose) Pecoraro, Lorenzo (late Caterina) Pecoraro, Battista (late Rosetta) Pecoraro and Maria (Angelo) D’Ugo and by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sister Angelina Muscia and by her parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056, from 10 AM until the time of Mass at 11 AM. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery.
