Dolores "Dodie" Sidor

Dolores Sidor, 93, was born on January 14, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Walter and Sophia (nee Burzynski) Boscaccy. She died Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Church Creek Independent Living, in Arlington Heights.

Dodie loved her three boys, traveling to the Bahamas, slot machines, and a good Rob Roy. (Not necessarily in that order).

Dolores is survived by her sons Richard (Linda) and Michael (Elisa) Sidor; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Sidor; her grandchildren Jaclyn Sidor, Christopher (Renata) Sidor, Kimberly (John) Czarnecki, Garrett (Kendall) Sidor, Monica (Patrick Scanlan) Sidor, Brandon Sidor, Derek (Diana) Briordy, Brendan Briordy, Meghan (Michael) Highfield, and her great grandchildren Luke, Gabriella, and Michael Marie Sidor, and Brett Czarnecki, Alexandra and Ronan Briordy, and Aubrey and Logan Highfield,.

Beloved "Auntie Dodie" to many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son Thomas; and her parents.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights and Wednesday May, 31, 2023 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440. S. Mitchell Ave., in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Entombment following at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
