Donald V. Fett, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at the age of 88. He had a distinguished 38-year career with United Airlines, piloting various aircraft, including his favorite, the B747-400.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joyce (Blaesing); sons, Jim (Ann) and Dan (Christine); daughters, Sharon Gregory (Gary) and Laura Nason (Charles); brother, Bob (Julie); and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Don will be held at Our Lady of the Wayside in Arlington Heights at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 14. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at 12:45 PM at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Palatine.
