Donald Lloyd Schultz

Donald was the beloved husband to Jacqueline nee Sandra; loving father to Mark Schultz, Dori Fava (Schultz), Lori (Marc) McGrath (Schultz), Randy Kesselring, and Jennifer Nix; dear grandfather to April (Cameron) Andrade, Brittany McGrath, Marc McGrath Jr., Benjamin Schultz, Savannah (Lucas) Wolf, Michala Schultz, Kaela (Eric) Oathout, Nicholas Schultz, Donatella Fava, and Robert McCracken; great grandfather to Hunter, Carina, and Fisher; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Donald is preceded in death by his brothers Gary and Terry Schultz. He will be missed dearly.

Donald proudly served his country in the Army and received a good conduct medal.

After the army Donald returned to Chicago and started working as a history teacher at Roosevelt High School and was able to maintain that position throughout his entire teaching career.

When he wasn’t working Donald was an avid cubs fan but most importantly his greatest passion was his family whom he loved endlessly. He was generous to a fault and was loved deeply.

The memorial service will be on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the American Legion of Arlington Heights, 121 N. Douglas Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Friends and family are welcome to start arriving at 11:00 AM, the honors will start at 12:00 PM.
