She died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington, Illinois.Mrs. Olsen was a homemaker and was an active member of Orchard Evangelical Free Church where she volunteered on many committees over her 50 years of membership.Dorothy is survived by her children, Richard (JoAnne) Olsen, Jr., Son, Kenneth (Leslie) Olsen, Bruce (Dorothy) Olsen, and Nancy (Walter) Reeves; her grandchildren Eric (Maureen) Olsen, Bjorn (Trisha) Olsen, Jennifer (Tino) Ayala, Lindy (Chris) Hammond, Amy Olsen, Julie Anderson, and Bryan Reeves; and her 16 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband Richard W. Olsen, Sr.; her son, Ronald Olsen; her parents; her sister Doris Kras and her brother, Rev. Arthur Freeburg.Visitation from 9:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Orchard Evangelical Free Church, 1330 N.
