Douglas C. Moody

Of Rolling Meadows 

Douglas Moody was born on March 14, 1960 in Rockford, Illinois to Lloyd and Rita (nee Ostdick) Moody. He died Wednesday, November 21, 2018. 

Mr. Moody was the Owner of Educational Directories Inc. 

He was the Treasurer and an active member at St. John United Church of Christ in Palatine, IL. 

His interest and hobbies included cooking, Chicago and Michigan State sports, exploring and researching new places to visit, he was a connoisseur of BBQ and craft beer, but most importantly he enjoyed spending time with family.  

Douglas is survived by his wife Jody Moody (nee Brown); his sons Cole (girlfriend Keiahna D-R) Moody and Colin (girlfriend Hayley Williams) Moody; his mother Rita Moody; his siblings Linda (Paul) Krauss, Warren (Kim) Moody and Wayne Moody; his sister in-law Danelle (Walt) Marquardt; he was also survived by his nieces and nephews Justin (Kristen), Taylor, Craig, Elaine (Jared), Rachel, Meghan (David), Grant, Patrick and Zach; and his cat George Clooney. 

He was preceded in death by his father. 

Visitation Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights, IL 60004 and on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 am at St. John United Church of Christ 1475 Algonquin Rd., Palatine, IL 60067. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. John United Church of Christ.
