Dr. Michael B. SchroederOf Arlington HeightsDr. Michael B. Schroeder was born on August 21, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Catherine Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Brady) Schroeder. He died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.Dr. Schroeder was a dentist for 36 years. He was a lifelong Arlington Heights resident, former Wheeling Township Supervisor and Arlington Heights Village President. He was also a longtime volunteer for the Mobile Dental Clinic, which provides free or low-cost dental care for the residents of the three townships who otherwise could not afford it. This past February, Dr. Schroeder spoke at the Mayoral Prayer Breakfast about his family and his faith. (nee Roush); his children, Sara B., Emily R., Nathan D., and Jacob M. Schroeder; his father, Dr. Frank A. (Marietta); his siblings Kathleen (Joe Adamkiewicz) Schroeder-Adamkiewicz, Mark, Joe (Laura), Laura, Mary (Steve) Henrickson, Monica (Tom) Lauerman, and Kurt; his aunt, Margaret Haskin; and his many loving nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother.Visitation from 3:00 until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N.
