Edward M. Meyer 79 of Buffalo Grove and a veteran of the Korean War was born December 17, 1931 to the late Edward and Clara (nee Hennig) Meyer and passed away December 9, 2011 at his residence. Ed was the beloved husband of Gloria T. nee Schamne; loving father of Gary (Jan) Meyer, Sheryl MacEwan, Teri (Mark) Wilson, Janet (Edward) Smith, Jackie Meyer, Laura (Dave) Johnson, Linda (Roger) Lockwood and Greg Meyer; cherished grandfather of 19; great grandfather of 7; dear brother of Judy Meyer, Tom Meyer and the late Don Meyer.
