Eileen Craig Cooper

Eileen Craig Cooper, 89, died peacefully Wednesday at her home in Arlington Heights, Il. She was the beloved mother of Richard (Kim) Ulbrich Jr., Susan (John) Reuter, and Craig Ulbrich. She is also survived by her dear sister and best friend, Evelyn McCarren, and her long-time companion Stephen Stefanik. Eileen was the revered grandmother of Lisa, Rick (Sheila), Jeff, Delaney, & Cory Ulbrich, Tara (Brian) Shannon, and Tim Reuter (Matt Bowers) and adored great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Chris, Ellie, Joe, Leah, Colin, Noah, Zeke, and Gus. She was also a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Marie Craig, her first husband Richard Ulbrich, Sr., her second husband Richard Cooper, and her cherished grandson Joey Reuter. Eileen grew up in Chicago, IL and attended Rosary College. She provided 30 years of loyal service to the accounting firm Webster and McCarthy in Des Plaines, IL. In Eileen's own words her life's aspirations were to fall in love, raise a family, and travel the world. She accomplished all that and so much more! Eileen's greatest passion was enjoying the time spent with her family. She was an inspiration and role model to so many because of her kindness, patience, compassion, grace, and class. Visitation Thursday, 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights, IL, 60004. Visitation will continue Friday, 10:00 am until the time of the funeral mass, 11:00 am, at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt. 83) at Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect, IL, 60056.
