Fred M. Owens, 89 of Palatine. was the loving and cherished husband of Marilyn Owens, nee DiRanna; father of Michael Owens and Anthony (Donna) Owens; grandfather of Alec and Christian. Friends and family will gather Monday, June 23, 2014 at 9:30 am for funeral service at 10:30 am at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 100 School St., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056. Mr. Owens will be interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois with military honors.
