Geraldine Anne Burney died on December 7, 2023, in Crystal Lake, Illinois. She was born on July 18, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois to Michael and Louise Brankin.
She is survived by her children Thomas (Joy) Burney and Carolyn Taylor; her grandchildren Virginia (Joey) Maraffino, Michael (Veronica) Burney, Emily Burney, and Caroline Burney; her great grand-children Jordan, Rocco and Lola Maraffino and Charlie and Sophia Burney; her siblings Lois (Joe) Young and Tom (Patricia) Brankin, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles T. Burney and her parents.
A visitation will take place from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington Heights, IL 60004.A visitation will also take place at 9:00am until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at St. Raymond de Penafort Catholic Church 301 S I-Oka, Mount Prospect, Illinois, 60056. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
