She passed away May 19, 2016, at the Moorings Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.Helen was the devoted wife of Judson Milton Brooks (deceased) and loving mother to Donald Brooks (Ruth), Deborah Brooks (Richard Whitley), and Pamela Brooks Orals (Michael), grandmother to Donald Brooks Jr., (Katherine), Paul Brooks, R.J. Maccani, Joshua Gleco, Andrew Orals and Paige Orals, great-grandmother to Allison Linn, Kyle Brooks, Zachary Brooks, and great-great grandmother to Landon Linn and Wyatt Linn.Helen grew up in Watervliet, NY and worked as a dental assistant, lab technician and church organist. Helen and Judson lived in Long Island, Philadelphia, Mt. Prospect, Arlington Heights, Cincinnati, before returning to Arlington Heights in the 80s. Helen loved playing bridge, tennis, painting, golf, and taught piano. Helen and Jud were active and devoted members of First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights for many years.Memorial service 11:00 am, Monday, May 23 at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N.
