Imelda "Milly" Bosshart

Imelda “Milly” G. Bosshart was born March 28, 1930 in Burgess Bond County, Illinois to Henry J. and Ida Elizabeth (nee Koch) Potthast. She died November 17, 2023 at Clarendale of Algonquin.

Milly was a kind and compassionate person. She devoted her life to caring for others, including visiting the home bound of St. Edna Parish. May she rest in peace with Jesus whom she served so faithfully her whole life.

She is survived by her sister Sr. Mary Potthast SFCC and by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Edward N. Bosshart; her siblings Raymond (Emma) Potthast, Velmer (Helen) Potthast, Valeria (Fay) & Albin Goestenkors, Eleanor (Vincent) Goestenkors, Clarence H. (Blanche) Potthast and Marcellus J. (Eleandra) Potthast and by her parents.

Visitation Saturday, December 9, 2023 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Holy Cross Mission Notre Dame (in care of Fr. Richard Potthast) or to the charity of your choice.
