Jacob Joseph Johnston Mazdra, 23, of Buffalo Grove was born December 31, 1992 in Chicago and passed away July 30, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Jake was the cherished son of William and Kathleen (nee Johnston) Mazdra; loving brother of Lucas; precious grandson of Genevieve and the late Wayne Johnston and the late William John and the late Louise Mazdra; dear nephew of JoAnn (Raymond) Davis and James William (Lorene) Mazdra and fond cousin of Katie (Sean) Lang, Megan Davis, Jamie Mazdra and Judith Mazdra. Jake loved to be trouble! He had a beautiful smile and a silly laugh. Most of all he was a sweet and loving child. His family was blessed to have him. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said Wednesday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home and proceed to St. Mary Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove for funeral mass at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
