James is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Frances (née Miller); his cherished children, Joseph (Jennifer) Myzia and Jennifer “Chang” Myzia; and his beloved grandchildren, Elisabeth (Jonathan) Lowe, Benton (Shia), and Andrew. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Mia. James was a dear brother to ten siblings and is survived by his sister Antoinette, and brothers Rosario and Peter.
A world-class mechanic and true “Mr. Fix-It,” James could repair just about anything, anywhere. He served his country with his “Mr. Fix-it” skills with honors in Vietnam as a soldier of the US Army. He found great joy in family trips to Walt Disney World, staying up to date on the weather and current events, and later in life, he developed a love for watching hockey and baseball with family. James was known for his quick wit, his love for animals, and his playful habit of mixing up names—always keeping those around him smiling.
