Pat, Joan and family, We were sorry to hear about your dad, Pat. He certainly left a wonderful legacy in the love and laughs he gave to all of you. You have our deepest sympathy.

Dear Stearns Family,
Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers!  We have such fond memories of growing up on Mitchell St. with you as our neighbors, and your dad was certainly someone who made that experience even more special.  We thought it was so cool that he got to ride the train and his great sense of humor made our times together so much fun. The twinkle in his eyes gave new meaning to the song, "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling".  As our Dad expressed recently, "Jim was one of the good guys". I recently discovered that your parents and my parents were friends and have known each other for years.  Your dad and mine both belonged to the Knights of Columbus together.

My mother, Dorothy Rusch, raves about how your parents were such sweet and caring people. Always said hi to her and asked how she was, especially since my dad passed away.
