Jim is survived by his wife, Norma Jung-Stein; his children, Cathy Stein and Michael (Tracie) Stein; step-children, Lynn Manhard, Bob Koehler, Sharon Klingman, Cathy Hunkeler, Mary Thuma, as well as their families and children; and brother, Lester (Joanne) Stein.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Judi Stein (nee Rode); second wife, Lois Stein; his parents; and brother, Leonard (Char) Stein.
Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 12, 2025 also at Glueckert Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Noon at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
