James A. Zeman

James A. Zeman was born on January 8, 1964 in Park Ridge, Illinois to John and Helen (nee Heikkila) Zeman. He died on September 17, 2022 at Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Jim served as Director of Quality at American Standards Circuits for over the last 10+ years. His dedication to his job and his colleagues was a trait passed on to his children, as seen in their work ethic, but at the end of the day everyone knew that family came first.

Jim’s habits often seemed spontaneous, but once he was hooked he was fully committed. As of late, his obsessions included making the best possible old fashioned/ mint juleps, remodeling the home, and tending to his garden. It was routine that he would walk around the house after work to make sure everything was in order. The hobby he was most committed to though, was making sure his wife and kids were living their happiest life possible.

Jim was a man of few words… but he always had the right words to say. Whether it was encouragement, guidance, or a simple conversation, he knew how to make sure you felt confident and supported. At the end of the day, it was Jim’s loyalty to his family and friends that could never be forgotten.

Jim is survived by his wife of 34 years Patricia (nee Polinski) Zeman; his children Thomas (Megan), James (Carrie) and Jane; his brothers John (Donna), Charlie and Bob (late Yvonne); he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jim is also proud grand-pupa, to two rambunctious dogs Birdie and Mona.

John and Helen Zeman, Jim’s parents, preceded his death.

Visitation Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 1:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 5:30 pm at the Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will take place privately.

Jim had always wanted a celebration of his life after his passing. He extends you the invitation to his party proceeding the visitation and we’d love to see you there.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
