Jane Eng HungOf Buffalo GroveJane Eng Hung was born December 11, 1951 in the rural village of Mun Lau, China to Bak Chew Eng and Li Chun Tong. She died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Midwest Palliative Hospice CareCenter in Glenview, Illinois.Jane worked at the Indian Trails Public Library for 27 years before retiring in 2013. A 1977 graduate of Northern Illinois University, she enjoyed and succeeded at many things in life. An avid artist and crafter, she worked as a graphic designer creating memorabilia for institutions such as the Sears Tower and Lincoln Park Zoo. She was also a Certified Floral Designer who was constantly finding new crafts to excel at " from building clever Halloween costumes from scratch for her children to the art of Chinese calligraphy. She was a nature lover, and cherished taking walks among the changing fall leaves. Her husband and sisters fondly remember her as a fantastic cook.Jane is survived by her spouse of 37 years, Ray Hung; her daughter, Lisa (Michael Ryan) Hung, her son Dr. John (Dr. Xiao Yang) Hung; her sisters, Sue (Bow Man Sit) Sit, Fong Eng, Lan (Michael Wapner) Eng, Ching (Michael Reuter) Eng, and Oi (Shlomo Crandus) Eng-Crandus; her many nieces and nephews, and her two great nieces.She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Frank Eng.The visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, and the Remembrance Service at 11:15 AM, on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
