Janice E. Kleiner

Of Arlington Heights

Janice E. Kleiner was born on November 6, 1936, in Detroit, MIchigan to David C. and Olga (nee Neumann) Evans. She died on September 9, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Janice was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and a treasured Teacher at her home church pre-school for over 20 years.

She was an avid reader, very active at church, and loved going to their 2nd home on Lime Lake in Michigan. She and her husband Dave were season ticket holders at Drury Lane Theatre and also loved camping.

Janice is survived by her husband of over 64 years David E. Kleiner; her children David (Mary Bentley) Kleiner Jr., Cheryl (Steven) Grossmann and Mark (Lisa) Kleiner; her grandchildren Robyn (James Vilgos) Kleiner-Vilgos, Nathan (Christy) Grossmann, Jonathan Grossmann and Ally, Maddy, Tessa and Jacob Kleiner; and her great-grandson William; she is also survived by her brother David C. (Sara) Evans Jr.

Visitation and Funeral will be private with a Celebration of Life to be planned in the future. Interment will take place at the Cleveland Township Cemetery, Maple City, Michigan, in Leelanau County.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit 150 Lions Drive, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
