Jay Cannon was born on June 27, 1944 in Binghamton, New York to Jay and Marion (nee Thomas) Cannon. He died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his residence. Jay attended St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa and was a former bank teller. He is survived by his sister, Patricia (the late Richard Florman) Cannon. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Thomas M. Cannon. Memorial visitation Monday, July 31, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a Memorial Service at Noon at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, Illinois. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Habitat for Humanity 322 W.
