Jeannette Kuhn

Jeannette Kuhn (née Dzik, formerly Barys), age 88, passed away peacefully in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Originally from Arlington Heights, Illinois, Jeannette was the beloved wife of the late William Kuhn and a devoted mother to Julie Anne Barys, Peter Edward Barys (Lynda), Alan Joseph Barys (Megan), Christopher Richard Barys (Jeanne), Hope Helen Eberhardt (Tom), and Eve Mary Barys.

She was deeply cherished by her grandchildren: Peter Michael, Shane, Allyson Maynard (Colby), Sydney Melrose (Luke), Christopher, Lauryn, Nicole, Alex, Matt Eberhardt (Jorie), Aaron, and Cooper; and lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren: Noah, Colbie, Ace, JT, and Elise.

Jeannette dedicated her life to caring for others through her long and impactful career in nursing, serving in hospitals, schools, classrooms, and pediatric offices.

A prayer and burial service will be held on Friday, September 5th at 11:30 AM at All Saints Cemetery, 700 North River Rd., Des Plaines, IL.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jeannette’s memory.
