Jeffrey R. Madore

Jeffrey R. Madore, 54, died suddenly on August 8th, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Tampa, FL. He was the beloved husband of Linda.Born on December 30th, 1961 in Salem, MA, he was the beloved son of Richard and Louise Madore of Peabody. He grew up in W. Peabody, MA, and ran track for and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in 1979. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1984 with a BS in Chemical Engineering.At the time of his death, Jeff was the Director of Global Innovation Project Management for S.C. Johnson. He started his career as a chemical engineer at The Dow Chemical Co. in Midland, Michigan, and progressed to his current position with S.C. Johnson. He was a member of AICHE (American Institute of Chemical Engineering) and of the St. Mary of Vernon Church.In addition to his beloved wife of 30 years, Jeff is survived by his parents, Richard and Louise of Danvers, MA; two sons, Alexander of Milwaukee, WI, and Marc of Madison, WI; two sisters, Brenda L. (Michael) Mortimer of Gallatin, TN, and Andrea M. Madore of Salem, MA; and 20 nieces and nephews.Jeff was a devoted husband, father, son, uncle, and brother. He truly cherished his time with family and friends, and was proud of his two sons. He enjoyed fishing, travelling, cooking, sailing, and much more. He lived life to the fullest, appreciated the gifts that life had to offer, and brought optimism and a sense of humor to all he came into contact with.Visitation from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, August 19, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N.
