Dr. Jerome J. Maurice

He passed away surrounded by his loving family, leaving a legacy of devotion, laughter, and adventure. A loving husband of 56 years, proud father of three daughters, dedicated dentist, and cherished grandfather, he touched countless lives with his warmth and wisdom.

Known for his tireless work ethic and adventurous spirit, he enjoyed deep-sea fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He supported and encouraged his daughters throughout their lives.

He will be deeply missed by family and friends. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

Jerome is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Maurice; daughters, Dr. Julie (Dr. Michael Minihane) Maurice, Dr. Jeanine (Gregory Taylor) Maurice, Dr. Joanna (Andrew) Maurice Parial; grandchildren, Mikayla, Sean, and Aiden Minihane; Griffin and Gwyneth Taylor; Adriana and Angela Parial; siblings, Jomarie (Victor) Grandinetti, Samuel (Bernadette) Maurice, and Rosaire (James) Hall; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Jennie Maurice; and brother, S. Joseph (Nancy) Maurice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Noon on Friday, May 30, 2025 at St. Emily Catholic Parish, 1400 E Central Rd, Mt. Prospect, IL 60056. Entombment will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, 700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
