Joan was born in Chicago on June 18, 1934, to parents William and Catherine (nee Malczewski) Richardson. She married Anthony Kopacz in 1984, and the couple was happily married until his death in 2006. She was a loving mother, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, and a fantastic bowler who will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Steven (Debbie) Binkley, and Jill Binkley, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Kopacz, and her daughter Kathleen Sachse.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, all at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
Inurnment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
